La Memoria y el Perdón: una aproximación desde Amelia Valcárcel

This article is a discussion paper that includes basic coments of Amelia Valcárel latest text: Memory and Forgivness, about a very sensitiveissuein societies that have suffered the ravages and consequences of a civil war, an internal conflict or social strain that have severely affected human rights. In this dimension, we analyze how the forgiveness of the victims to their abusers is an issue that can not be framed exclusively in the realm of punishment and penalties. It transcends the law. It is currently the subject of ethics and border policy, under which inhabits its active language. It is in itself very intimate, it’s the jurisdiction of the victim, which involves simultaneously cognitive, emotional, behavioral and spiritual aspects. Also involves the collective when attempting to validate decisions that weigh rights and peace, the pacific coexistence and the justice or even in the design of public policies for social healingEl presente artículo es un documento reflexión que incluye elementales acotaciones de la lectura del último texto de Amelia Valcárcel: “La memoria y el perdón”, sobre un tema de mucha sensibilidad en las sociedades que han sufrido los estragos y las consecuencias ya sea de una guerra civil, un conflicto armado interno o distensiones sociales graves que han afectado severamente los derechos humanos. Construir memoria no es tarea fácil para la víctima. A esta se le impone una tarea de discernimiento moral porque las afectaciones están enraizadas con los derechos humanos y estos son valores mínimos universales. En esa dimensión, se analiza cómo el perdón de las víctimas hacia sus agresores constituye un tema que no puede enmarcarse exclusivamente en el ámbito del castigo y las penas. Trasciende lo jurídico. Es actualmente, tema de frontera de la ética y de la política, en cuyo marco habita su lenguaje activo. Es por si mismo muy íntimo, del fuero de la persona agredida, que implica simúltaneamente aspectos cognitivos, emocionales, conductuales y espirituales. Igualmente involucra lo colectivo cuando se intenta validar decisiones que sopesan derechos como la paz, la convivencia pacífica y la justicia o incluso en el diseño de políticas públicas para la sanación social

NeuroPod: a real-time neuromorphic spiking CPG applied to robotics

Initially, robots were developed with the aim of making our life easier, carrying out repetitive or dangerous tasks for humans. Although they were able to perform these tasks, the latest generation of robots are being designed to take a step further, by performing more complex tasks that have been carried out by smart animals or humans up to date. To this end, inspiration needs to be taken from biological examples. For instance, insects are able to optimally solve complex environment navigation problems, and many researchers have started to mimic how these insects behave. Recent interest in neuromorphic engineering has motivated us to present a real-time, neuromorphic, spike-based Central Pattern Generator of application in neurorobotics, using an arthropod-like robot. A Spiking Neural Network was designed and implemented on SpiNNaker. The network models a complex, online-change capable Central Pattern Generator which generates three gaits for a hexapod robot locomotion. Recon gurable hardware was used to manage both the motors of the robot and the real-time communication interface with the Spiking Neural Networks. Real-time measurements con rm the simulation results, and locomotion tests show that NeuroPod can perform the gaits without any balance loss or added delay.Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad TEC2016-77785-
